This 2013, The V opens its doors to IRs who are interested in taking their IRship a notch higher. With the Leadership Advancement Program and V Leaders Certification Program, IRs are given the opportunity to improve themselves and take a bigger leap in the ladder of success.

The V believes that hard work and loyalty to the company are of utmost importance for an IR to succeed in the business.  Growth and enrichment of every IR is one of the many objectives of the company in order to continuously improve their skills and achieve bigger triumphs.

VP Donna, AVP Asha dominate F2 World Tour Ivory Coast

CIMG3799.JPG

The F2 World Tour was a complete success with over 1700 attendees! Held at Foundation du Yamousoukro, Yamousoukro, Ivory Coast, last November 18, the event was headlined by VP Donna Imson, along with co-speakers AVP Asha and VC Fofana. Also present were QNET IC Agent Dr. Solo, QNET Office Manager Mr. Clement, and Mr. Bado, BDE-in-charge.

Dr Ouattara, the MC, opened the event by describing what The V is and does.  She then introduced VC Fofana as a top leader in Ivory Coast, who brought this opportunity to the country to help others change their lives. She also talked about the importance of F2.

VC Fofana took to the stage and talked about dreams and actions. Without dreams and actions this business could not go so far in connecting with F2, he said, as the most important act in this business is to always find your 2. He also shared his journey since he joined this business and how long it took him to find his 2. He concluded by inviting AVP Asha on the stage.

AVP Asha shared what her life was like before and after joining Qnet to motivate the audience. She concluded by introducing VP Donna to the audience, whose first time it was to facilitate an event in Ivory Coast  She talked about how this business changed her life for the better, and concluded her speech by motivating the participants into finding 2 every month.

Overall, the crowd were very excited and charged up by the speakers, especially VP Donna and AVP Asha who were able to touch the crowd highly.

***
On 19/11/12, from 7pm to 10pm, VP Donna had a meeting with 34 Wave 15 Ambassadors in Qnet agency Abdjan, where she focused on leadership skills and motivated them to be the path finders for their down lines.

On 20/11/12, 7pm to 10pm, VP Donna met with the top 150 Ivory Coast leaders in Bellcote Hotel and discussed with them the strategy of F2, and how to approach new people with this business.  AVP Asha also shared her experience in how to get close to people and bring them to this opportunity.

On 21/11/12, from 7pm to 10pm, VP Donna met with the Ivory Coast market ladies in Bellcote hotel as well, with more than 2000 ladies joining the event where she elaborated how ladies can take care of their families by doing the business the right way. She also shared her experience as a mother of 3 children and how she managed this business to become a VP. AVP Asha also shared her experience as a mother of 2 children. Overall this event was well prepared and for sure we should expect more than before from Ivory Coast.

Below are some photos from the event.

Learn to be Charismatic via the HBR Blog Network

There’s always something about our leaders that makes us follow them, no matter what. You probably know what that is: Charisma. That’s the mark of a good leader. We’re sure many of you want to be notable leaders, too, and in your own right. What’s stopping you? Not charismatic enough?

We came across this article today and I’m sure this will provide some insight on how YOU can be charismatic yourself! Hats off to Scott Edinger who wrote this informative piece.

Learn to be Charismatic

By Scott Edinger

What makes a leader inspiring? By far, the most common answer I hear from the thousands of leaders I’ve spoken with on the topic is “charisma.”

And who would argue? When they hear that answer, people typically nod knowingly; we all seem to recognize the power of charisma to motivate. Rosabeth Moss Kanter, recently wrote on this site about its importance. The sociologist Max Weber described it as being endowed with supernatural, superhuman, and exceptional powers.

As a practical matter though, what does one do with this information? The advice, “Go be charismatic” is about as useful as “Go be inspiring.” So what does it actually mean to be charismatic as a leader? From my experience observing and coaching hundreds of leaders, and analyzing data on thousands more, here is what I’d suggest is the constellation of qualities that constitutes charismatic leadership.

Charismatic people focus on you, not themselves. Leadership effectiveness is contextual — what works for one group doesn’t necessarily work for another. So in order to be charismatic you simply have to understand and relate to others. And the more you relate on a human level the better. Regardless of your politics it is hard to argue that Bill Clinton is nothing if not charismatic. Even people who have had the briefest of encounters with him come away feeling like they were the most important person in the room.

They tend to be extraverts. I recognize that this will be an unpopular conclusion with the introverts reading this, but the fact is charismatic leaders are people who put themselves out there. They actively seek out and engage others. They tend to be upbeat and make us feel that way, too. We all know people who can “light up a room.” This is not to say that introverts can’t be charismatic. But they do have to work harder at it, since many find social situations draining, rather than energizing.

Like all good leaders, charismatic leaders are skilled communicators. Communication is critical to any kind of management of course, but charismatic leaders are particularly expressive in their verbal communication. They are skilled and entertaining conversationalists. They tell stories. They use concrete examples. They talk about their feelings. They look for ways to invoke common ground in an audience. These skills come naturally to many, but they can certainly be learned, and improved.

They feel your pain, really. You can be good at sizing people up, engaging with them, paying attention to them, and communicating with them and still not be charismatic. Beyond all of these skills, truly charismatic leaders possess that little something extra. Empathy. They genuinely care — and people can tell. It’s what Aristotle called ethos, as it relates to your disposition or character. The most effective leaders I’ve worked with display charisma by making a genuine emotional connection forged by words and deeds that demonstrate that they understand — and really have — your best interests at heart.

The word charisma comes from the word Greek charis, meaning gift or grace. But it’s not so much a grace we’re born with as a skill that can be cultivated and, ultimately, a gift to be shared with others.

Read GMD Joseph Bismark’s latest blog post “The Mark of a Leader”

Here’s another good read to end the week! Check out GMD Joseph Bismark’s latest blog post, “The Mark of a Leader”. Here’s a sample:

What makes a good leader? Are leaders born or made?

I get asked these questions often.

My reply is, “Everyone has the potential to be a leader.”

There are many opportunities to lead. It’s all about taking responsibility.

These opportunities are not only found at work, but also at home. As a spouse, we lead our significant other. As parents, we lead our children. If you’re a stay-at-home mother, your children look to you for guidance. You would also be responsible for leading your domestic helper.

The question really to ponder is, “Are you taking on the responsibility to lead?”

Read VP Donna Imson’s latest blog post “Is Your Belief True or False?”

Check out VP Donna Imson’s latest blog post about belief and take the time to read through it and watch her video. Here’s a sample!

My belief made me the woman I am now. My belief is the very core of who I am. From my humble beginnings in the network marketing business to the present life I lead, my belief has kept me together and propelled me along into bigger, better, happier and more fulfilling things.

We all have a belief system. Belief is the foundation of everything created in this world. Our belief system is the aggregation of our education, life experiences, accumulated knowledge and acquired wisdom.

Tajikistan Network Training Event featuring AVP David Sharma [Photos]

Last July 29, 2012, a Network Training event was held at Ayni Opera & Ballet Theatre in Tajikistan with approximately 400 people. Speaking at the event were AVP David Sharma and Trevor Kuna, with a surprise call from Mr JR Mayer and VMD Pathman Senathirajah. The local leaders gave motivational speeches and training on QNET products.

Some of the leaders have this to say about the event:

“Tajikistan has been a great market for QNET since early 2007. What we see now is the coming together of all teams in the country, working as one to achieve a common goal: success with QNET. I am extremely proud of what the leading Independent Representatives of Tajikistan have achieved and I look forward to more high energy training events in the months to come.”

Leadership Camp Bangalore, A Success! (with photo gallery)

The Bangalore Leadership Camp last July 27 – 29 was a blast! As part of the V Partners Tour 2012, the Leadership Camp in India was successfully held in Clarks Exotica in Bangalore.

Attended by a huge number of IRs, the two-day event was graced by esteemed V Partners and Leaders namely VP Sathi, VP Balajee, AVP Padma, and AVP Mahendra Kumar. The crowd of almost 200 was all excited as QNET Bangalore launched new Chairos watches for India plan. The launch was facilitated by VP Sathi and QNET CEO Suresh Thimiri. During the launch, CEO Suresh presented VP Sathi his very own Chairos watch.

IRs in Bangalore were very welcoming. Both Leaders and IRs enjoyed accomplishing the processes and other tasks done during the two-day training. The most exciting part of the Leadership Camp was the number of young leaders who attended. There were several young leaders who shared their thought and experiences as the youngsters in the business. Inspired by the leaders, the young ones testified that success in network marketing wouldn’t be possible if it not for the combined support of their teams.

Here are some of the photos of the event; check out the smiles on everybody’s faces. It was a day of learning, fun, and camaradery.
